Challenge

Claudie decided to design a home based on metal sea containers. With this decision, she didn’t exactly choose the easiest route. In fact, she encountered a lot of obstacles during the process. For example, it was very difficult to find an engineer who had the resources and capabilities to cut through the sea containers and to install doors and windows in them. She was rejected by four different engineers before finding one that was willing to work with her. Luckily, she did find someone who dared to take on the project in the end. And the result is amazing! Her home turned out absolutely beautiful and it’s eco-friendly as well.

We love what Claudie did with her home! It looks so modern, you’d hardly recognise the sea containers, but there are some special pieces of the wall she’s left as they were. We’d love a home like this – how about you?
